In the News and Nothing New.

I have been watching the news. I can only imagine what must being going on in people's minds. It is a sad state of affairs in our country right now. I think as a people we know politicians lie. Secretary Gates has said as much, that it is the nature of doing business.  I am saddened by what I have heard in the news, and it is one of the reasons I cannot watch too much television or news. 

I wanted write an entry for today, but I cannot find the words I want to share with you about what is on my heart. It is a difficult time for many people. 

I am just going to ask that you would pray for me today, and reflect on God's goodness. He is at work, and the Spirit is moving. It is time for us to be still and know our God is present. 

Jesus- be at the center of our hearts today. Forgive us for our pride. I know nothing is hidden from You. Help me to continue walking in the truth and promises of Your Word. Thank you for your compassion. I pray for those that might think they are in control, and ask that you would reveal yourself in their hearts to realize they are not in control. Be glorified. In your name. Amen.
